Managing occupational health and safety (OHS) means handling many fronts at once: regulatory standards (NRs), deadlines for occupational medical exams (ASOs), submitting events to eSocial, the Brazilian government's labor reporting system, and training. Each one has its own deadlines, documents and rules.
With PrevMet, we built a platform that brings all of this into one place, with a view for HR, an app for employees and integrations that take repeated data entry out of the way.
The context: lots of deadlines, little visibility
Data on exams, training and compliance was scattered. HR spent a good part of its time chasing deadlines and paperwork, with little time left to look at what that data said about the health of its teams.
The flow also had a cost. Information isolated in different places required manual work to consolidate, and every manual step opens room for human error.
In this scenario, OHS ended up being seen as a bureaucratic cost center: an obligation to fulfill in order to avoid fines.
What we built
The solution has three fronts that complement each other:
- A web platform for HR managers, with custom dashboards and clear metrics.
- A mobile app for employees, who start taking part in their own care.
- Integrations and automations that connect the partner clinic, the exam, the result and eSocial in a single flow.
How it works
The HR platform
The web platform centralizes OHS management. Raw data on exams, training and compliance becomes a panoramic view, organized in dashboards.
HR stops chasing deadlines and paperwork and starts acting on information. The question shifts from "what is about to expire?" to "where do we need to act first?".
The employee app
The app puts OHS in the palm of every employee's hand. Through it, employees schedule exams, access their health records and receive important safety communications.
Everything sits in one direct, accessible channel. Processes move faster, engagement grows and the culture of prevention gets stronger. Care becomes a daily habit instead of an annual event.
Integrations that remove repeated data entry
Through several integrations and automations, we connected every stage of the OHS process. The flow starts with scheduling at the partner clinic, goes through the exam and the consolidation of the result, and ends with events being sent automatically to eSocial.
Once entered, data moves securely and consistently through the entire system. Information silos disappear, manual work drops sharply and the process becomes continuous and auditable.
Indicators that anticipate problems
Data on its own is just numbers. On the platform, it becomes a picture of the organization's health.
Continuous monitoring lets management look beyond reactive indicators, such as the number of accidents, and act on preventive ones. It becomes possible to spot trends, such as a rise in ergonomic complaints in one department, and step in before they turn into medical leave.
The company moves out of reacting to problems and into predictive management: reducing risks, promoting well-being and showing real care for people.
Reports for every level of the company
Every organization has its own challenges and risks. A construction company and a technology company look at OHS in different ways.
That is why PrevMet generates fully customized reports and metrics, and each manager focuses on what matters for their business:
- the CEO sees the return on health initiatives;
- the department manager tracks the team's training compliance;
- the safety technician analyzes operational data in detail.
Each level gets the information it needs to decide faster.
What changed for the operation
eSocial compliance and avoiding fines remain at the center, now with far less manual effort. Around them, the operation gains other things:
- An HR team that plans. With deadlines under control and data organized, the team spends time on prevention.
- Employees who take part. The app makes each person an active participant in their own health and safety.
- Less risk. Auditable processes and preventive monitoring protect the company from labor liabilities.
OHS takes a different place in the company: a pillar for valuing people, where care and productivity go together. It also strengthens the employer brand, because showing real care for the people who work there helps attract and keep good professionals.
